Painting and Drawing Workshops
This acrylic painting class will introduce you to or improve your skills at painting using layers and textures. A variety of techniques and demonstrations will be given to achieve naturalness to your still life and abstract pieces. No experience necessary.
Always wanted to paint? Put a brush to canvas and give it a try! Learn basic techniques, or hone the skills you've already learned. Principles of color, light and shadow, dimension, composition and more will be covered. Materials provided for introductory projects. No experience required. This class will not be meeting on 4/17.
Gain confidence in your abilities, and learn to draw what you see! Whether you find yourself saying "I can't draw!" or you want to expand your skills beyond the basics, this workshop will show you a variety of techniques in graphite, charcoal, and other mediums. No experience necessary.
Learn some of the basic building strokes of Chinese brushpainig in this introductory workshop.
Drawing the human figure is perhaps the best exercise one can do to improve their drawing abilities. Pencil and charcoal will be used while covering anatomy, proportion, lighting, and how to see and simplify the human form. Life models will be used at every session. All levels welcome.
Get clean, feel soft, and smell good. Participants will make soap customized to their scent-sibilities, then adapt this information to cover lotions and lip-balms. This is a hands-on workshop full of good, clean fun. Fee includes all materials.
