Set your digital camera aside for a while and step back into traditional black and white photography. Manual camera operation, film exposure and development, and basic printing techniques will all be covered. Through demonstrations and supervised darkroom time, you will have the opportunity to learn the basic skills of black and white photography including visual elements like composition. Bring an empty 35 mm camera. Manual settings are strongly recommended but not required.
Bring an empty 35mm film manual camera (not digital) with you. One roll of black and white 35mm film and 10 sheets of photo paper are provided for each student in the workshop.
Please arrive on time to class. Wear closed-toe shoes.

Closed-toe shoes are required to use any studio space in the Craft Center.
