This class offers a basic introduction to Chinese calligraphy and Chinese traditional painting, traditional brush and ink in writing and drawing, and the cultural information it conveys. At the same time, students would have chance to write the regular script (kǎishū) and learn some basic Chinese characters as well. Instruction will be in English.
