Printmaking

Screen print your own designs, practice your carving skills with wood block printing, even try photo emulsion. The Craft Center has all the resources you need for any printmaking project. This is a great way for graphic designers to practice bringing their work into the physical realm. If you’re unsure how to use a resource just check our workshops for a class to get you started.

Studio Announcements:

Screenprinting is only available for registered participants in a screenprinting workshop during the scheduled workshop time. There is no open studio option for this medium.
 


Orientation Registration - Open for Spring Term.  

Registration for Spring Term orientations will open on April 1, 2024 at 10am. Spots are limited for orientations and take place during Weeks 2, 3, and 4 of the term. 

Studio Orientation is required for all new studio users not registered for a workshop to become acquainted with studio policies and space usage. Users must have prior experience to take this orientation. Prior experience is defined as workshop or class experience within the past 2 years and a full understanding of the studio processes from beginning to end.

Learn how to carve an illustrated image onto linoleum and wood blocks. Participants in this workshop will create block printed images while learning about color, line, and form. Play with printing on a variety of papers.
