Our Programs and Activities
Welcome some magic into your everyday life.
We want everyone to experience the joy of creating, so we strive to make crafts easy to access. We also offer opportunities to learn new skills and be inspired by others' work.

Visiting Artist Program
The Visiting Artist Program brings talented artists to campus, providing a unique opportunity to engage with professional artists and their work. Exhibitions are held in the Craft Center Gallery where visitors can experience diverse styles and mediums firsthand. The workshops allow participants to learn specific techniques in an intimate, hands-on setting. Many artists also offer public talks, sharing insights into their creative process, career journey, and artistic philosophies.
Galleries
The Craft Center Gallery hosts exhibitions by artists invited through the Craft Center’s Visiting Artist Program. These exhibitions bring a wide range of creative practices to the campus, with artists often sharing their processes through workshops and talks. The Aperture Gallery displays mostly photography and mixed media projects by students, community members, and faculty.
Lego Table
The Lego Table is a fun, interactive space in the Craft Center's Fibers Studio where visitors can take a break, get creative, and build anything they can imagine. It’s open to UO students who wants to relax, collaborate, or get inspired while working with Lego—no membership or workshop sign-up required! Just swipe in with your Flock Card at the front desk.
Bringing Crafts to You
Mobile Craft Studio
Renovated from the Moss Street Children Center’s bus, the Craft Center Mobile Studio brings the joy of creating to any corner of campus and the greater Eugene-Springfield area. The flexible space allows for many kinds of crafts. It’s decked out with mini pottery wheels, a block printing press, paints, and anything else you or your group needs to exercise your imagination.
DIY Craft Pantry
The pantry is stocked with free materials— markers, acrylic paints, crayons, ribbons, and the occasional googly eye—that UO students can use for their projects. Get a spark of creativity through a new medium or pick out any extra supplies you need. To access, you will need to make an account and sign a waiver. Stop by the front desk when you arrive on your first visit.
