Jennifer Salzman is the Program Director for the EMU Craft Center. She is originally a mid-westerner, born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin, and received a B.S. in Art Education from UW-Stevens Point and an MFA from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She and her husband moved to Oregon in 2004, and both have extensive careers in the local arts and higher education communities. Their three daughters are all UO alumni.

Jennifer has worked in education for 22 years, with the last 17 years in higher education. She is also a practicing artist, working in mixed media photography and exhibiting nationally and internationally.
