Drypoint

Wednesday 3:00 - 4:00
08/12/2020

Drypoint is the process of incising an image onto a printing plate with a sharp tool; it is the most fundamental form of intaglio primtmaking. Artists have been perfecting this technique for hundreds of years, and some of the finest artworks in existence were created this way. Now, you can learn to make drypoint prints at your kitchen table, with materials that you have on hand or can easily obtain.

Craft Center online workshops will take place via Zoom. Participants can work along with the instructor with the tools and materials available to them, or simply watch the workshop demonstrations and ask questions. Meeting login information will be emailed to participants shortly before the start of the session. If you do not receive a login email, please contact us so that we can connect you. In some cases, workshop demonstrations may be recorded for participants who are unable to attend the live session; this will only be done with the agreement of all participants.
